Mom's Macaroni and Cheese

Macaroni and Cheese

2 C. dry macaroni
1 t. salt
Cook until tender- or use package directions. Drain.
Add:
2 C. whole tomatoes and let it sit for a bit.
White Sauce:
You will need butter, flour or cornstarch, milk, and salt.
Melt butter, add flour or cornstarch and stir until bubbly. Add milk and boil. Add cheese and salt to taste.
Stir white sauce and macaroni until well mixed, do not boil again but make sure that it is good and hot. Add more grated cheese on top.
