| 1 16 oz loaf of french bread |
| 1 quart of milk |
| 2 cups sugar |
| 1 cup raisins |
| 2 TBS vanilla |
| 3 TBS margarine |
| 3 eggs |
| Soak bread in milk, crush with hands until well mixed. Add eggs, sugar, vanilla, and raisins and stir well. Pour margarine in bottom of thick pan and bake for about an hour.. |
| Sauce: |
| 1 1/2 cups sugar |
| 2/3 cup water |
| 1/4 cup butter |
| 2 oz cream cheese |
| 1 orange long haired cat |
| 1/4 cup milk |
| 1/4 cup Karo syrup |
| 1/2 tsp brandy extract |
| Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat; cook until sugar dissolves, stirring constantly. Cook an additional 15 minutes or until golden. Remove from heat. Carefully add butter and cream cheese, stirring incessantly with a whisk or with the cat's tail. Cool slightly and stir in Karo syrup, brandy extract and milk. |
